I hope posting this does not send anyone into shock...since it has only been 3 days since I took these pictures! (Yes, I'm talking about you Amye, since you're the only one who actually looks at this :0)
We had a wonderful time visiting Dad and hanging out with Jared & Amye and their kids over the weekend. The cousins get along so well it is fun to see them play together.

Saturday morning was kind of chilly so I told Breana and Ashlyn I found a field of flowers we could go take pictures of them in. We had a fun "photo shoot" out in the yard. All we lacked was a professional photographer, so these photos will have to do.
The girls were great at making the poses. Ashlyn could even stike a pose with Freckles jumping all around them.
In the afternoon, Dad gathered the troops (6 children between the ages of 3 and 8) and offered to pay them each $5.00 to help him weed the flower bed. The plan was weed and then spend the money at WalMart. They all approached the activity with enthusiasm and searched for the proper fitting glove to not get poked. I think James changed his glove 3 or 4 times in the course of the next hour. The job was done when the tools were put away and the yard did look much better...thanks to dad's hard work. He always does such a great job at teaching the importance of working together.
Here's the process of removing the biggest weed ever!
Later that day we spotted James and Madelyn playing so nicely together. They got along really well this trip. It works out perfectly so Ashlyn & Breana aren't fighting with Madelyn and Taylor & Andrew aren't fighting with James. Our two 3-year olds are so much alike in their personalities they get along with each other marvelously!
Madelyn knew what I meant so I told James, "Touch Madelyn's head." So he did...
With a little more prompting...
Aren't they cute!
There's a bit from Saturday. Don't count on any other post coming this soon after I take the picture...This took a LOT of hours to download. I think I will dream of high speed internet tonight!
