Summer In a Flash

In August we had a great Primary Activity we called CTR Olympics. The turnout was amazing with at least 90 children and we had so many adults, parents, and youth help manage each event and group. The pics are of the Anti-Nephi-Lehi Sword Hunt and Nephi's bow events. You can't tell from the pictures but it was over 90 degrees...an unusual thing for Washington at 11am!

Summer came to a close. Here's a few pics of the boys in their favorite past time...getting dirty! I think it was James who said, "Mom, I love dirt!" We needn't ever wonder how they get so dirty!!!

This is a sand box that we haven't gotten around to purchasing sand for. One day I heard Breana exclain to the boys, "Andrew & James come on outside & let's made more sand!" They elatedly ran to the sand box where they sifted dirt....to make sand of course!

don't worry...it doesn't really work. But I plan on saving this picture so I can show him how he really liked mowing the lawn, once upon a time.

Summer in a Flash

Yes, even in Washington there are days to get in a pool of cold water. The kids were able to enjoy our little pool a few times this summer.

We enjoyed a day at OMSI with my friend, Ariane, and her 4 kids thanks to her group pass. What a fun memory!

July was Bullock reunion time. We enjoyed a nice time in Olympia with Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Here's a shot of Kyle with his cousin Liam, 5 days older than him. Oh yeah, and their mom's, me & Holly.

At the reunion we took a walk out in the bog...Breana didn't have such a good time getting stuck! Her flip flop literally stuck to the mud and "timber"...this was the result. So sad!

(A huge THANKS to Amye for downloading my pics onto my Blog!!! One day I will get high speed internet again! You're great Amye!)

4th of July

We enjoyed the holidays with the usual festivities in Yelm with my parents. James enjoyed playing Bocce with Grandpa. He was "one of the guys."

Thanks to Uncle Jared, each of the kids got to light their own snakes. They loved it! Hopefully this doesn't create a bunch of pyromaniacs. :O)

Sparklers are always a favorite.
Kyle even got in on the action this year.
